CCL Compliance
Background
Established in the City of London, CCL has provided specialist compliance services since 1988, when the Financial Services Act 1986 came into force. As the FSA compliance consultancy industry matured, CCL found itself with greatly increased competition and decided to focus on the web as their main marketing communications channel.
Line has worked with CCL since 2004 when we won the original contract to redesign their consultancy website. Since launching this content managed site, Line has also been tasked with developing a new e-commerce training website, and more recently we have completed two additional sites to support their launch of new offices in Dubai and Qatar.
What we did
The project required us to develop CCL's identity, repositioning the consultancy as experts in both sectors, such as corporate finance and mortgages, as well as in their offered services. We proposed the 'big idea' of "Simple Adherence" to differentiate their offer, and commissioned and directed a photographer and web copywriter to produce the correct imagery and tone of voice.
Functionally, we developed a full content managed website and email marketing system which integrates with their existing CRM software to enable them to send out FSA e-bulletin updates. The public website includes a 'virtual compliance officer' application to assist smaller companies without dedicated compliance staff, whilst the UK training site handles all aspects of the booking process, including attendee correspondence and post-session reporting.
CCL's success has led to two new offices opening in the MENA region and we have recently launched sites for both of these operations.

The sites have performed exceptionally well for CCL. In just four months since launch the traffic to the main site increased twenty-fold, due to their greatly increased search engine results positioning (SERP). The main website is consistently delivering new business leads on a daily basis (as opposed to weekly previously), and the uptake of the regulatory updates and attendance at training courses have increased dramatically.
