Line design and develop web sites and digital marketing campaigns with a strong focus on the end user. Due to continued success, we are looking to expand our network of talented freelance and contract designers.
You should be able to show an enviable portfolio of past work, demonstrating usability considerations and the ability to work within brand guidelines or developing new brand identities from scratch. An understanding of the technical limitations of the medium is expected. Additional skills in building standards compliant XHTML/CSS based websites and/or Flash based banner ads or websites is very desirable. 'Traditional' print based graphic designers are encouraged to apply if you have a genuine interest in switching media.
Core skills:
- Design for usability
- Working to brand guidelines
- Developing brand styles
- Good typographic skills
- Understanding of technical limitations
- Consideration and application of information architecture
- Adobe Fireworks based (Mac or PC)
- Standards compliant XHTML/CSS build (desirable)
- Flash build for banner ads (desirable)
- Complex Flash build including ActionScript (desirable)
